As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dispatcher to join our Denver office.

As a Dispatcher at BTI, you will be responsible for efficiently planning, coordinating, and managing freight loads and driver routes. Your primary goal is to ensure on-time deliveries, maximize driver efficiency, and provide outstanding service to our customers and partners. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems.

• Plan, assign, and dispatch loads to drivers based on availability, proximity, and freight requirements
• Secure backhauls and maximize loaded miles to reduce deadhead time
• Communicate regularly with drivers to provide updates, directions, and support
• Monitor shipments throughout transit and address any delays or issues
• Ensure all delivery documentation, including BOLs and lumper receipts, are completed and processed accurately
• Track and log load and mileage data in dispatch systems
• Use logistics platforms such as DAT and other TMS software to manage daily operations
• Coordinate with internal departments (safety, billing, HR) to ensure smooth workflow
• Handle emergency situations and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
• Be available to work rotating weekends or off-hours, as needed

• Minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience in the U.S. trucking/logistics industry (required)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Strong understanding of freight logistics, DOT regulations, and route planning
• Proficient in logistics software (e.g., DAT, Load Boards, TMS systems)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
