Project Manager – Real Estate Measurement & Analytics

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid with Local Fieldwork)

Type: Full-Time, Exempt

We’re looking for a confident and technically strong Project Manager to lead commercial real estate measurement projects from concept through delivery. In this role, you’ll manage timelines, budgets, teams, and client relationships while ensuring deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and clarity.

This position sits within our Real Estate Measurement & Analytics Group , supporting high-impact decisions for owners, occupiers, and investors across a wide range of asset types.

What You’ll Do

As Project Manager, you’ll lead internal teams and client-facing efforts on complex projects involving BOMA studies, as-built documentation, and accessibility analysis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects across multiple phases — from kickoff through final delivery — while tracking scope, fee, and profitability
  • Leading internal teams and coordinating workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Guiding the development of space programming, feasibility studies, and space requirement analyses
  • Working directly with clients, presenting findings, and managing expectations with confidence and clarity
  • Mentoring staff and creating a positive, growth-focused environment for team development
  • Applying expert-level knowledge of BOMA standards, ADA, Title 24, and other applicable codes
  • Supporting QA/QC and process improvement efforts across the group
  • Maintaining accurate project records and contributing to internal knowledge management

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines technical depth with strong leadership instincts and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in architecture, planning, space analytics, or related field
  • Deep knowledge of BOMA standards and relevant building/accessibility codes
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and production teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable in client-facing roles
  • Ability to lead feasibility studies, develop programming documents, and analyze space needs
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and project tracking systems
  • Commitment to mentoring and team development
  • Local fieldwork experience and a valid driver’s license

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is an Exempt Full-Time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overtime, including evening and/or weekend hours may be required as workload demands.

TRAVEL

Travel will include performing on-site field surveys throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Travel may also include the occasional trip throughout California and/or other states as projects require. Mileage will be reimbursed at a predetermined market rate. Individuals must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and have reliable transportation. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and per diem provided when appropriate.
