Evaluate all possible data sources within the consumer lending ecosystem. Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to plan and design our data architecture, pipelines, and features. Ensure all business needs are met and corner cases are evaluated in our data ETL processes, providing thought leadership. Explore new technological shifts to assess how they might benefit our customer offerings. Utilize cloud-based databases (e.g., S3, EMR, SageMaker in AWS, Spark) to analyze transactional data for fraud risk and translate findings into actionable business insights. Additional Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams—product development, management, marketing, data engineering, compliance, underwriting—to design products that increase market share. Work effectively in teams, demonstrating good judgment, creativity, and strategic thinking across multiple projects. Qualifications MS/PhD in Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; or a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of practical experience. Proven experience in data exploration, pipeline development, and managing large-scale transactional datasets.
