Sound Healing Foundations Workshop

Part 1: The Conceptual Framework (9:00 – 10:00 AM)

This opening hour establishes the theoretical basis for sound healing. It begins with a conceptual overview, defining what sound healing is and exploring its historical and cultural significance. This is balanced by a healer’s perspective, which delves into the more spiritual or energetic aspects of the work, discussing how sound influences the body’s subtle energy fields (aura, chakras, etc.). The segment concludes with personal experiences and short case studies to ground the theory in real-world application, making the information relatable and inspiring for participants.

Part 2: The Practical Application (10:00 – 11:00 AM)

This hour is dedicated to the hands-on use of sound tools. Participants are first guided to develop a deeper understanding of sound and vibration itself, followed by a practical demonstration and practice session on handling singing bowls. Key techniques, such as striking and ‘singing’ the bowls, are taught. The core of this session is a guided meditation where participants learn to use the singing bowls to facilitate relaxation, focus, and inner stillness. This segment directly links the theoretical knowledge from the first hour to a tangible, personal practice.

Part 3: Advanced Techniques & Integration (11:00 – 12:00 PM)

The final hour builds upon the skills learned, introducing a more advanced, therapeutic application of sound. It introduces the shamanic drum and its role in healing. The main focus is on the practice of aura cleansing, where participants learn to use both singing bowls and the drum to clear energetic blockages and restore balance to the body’s energy field. The workshop concludes with a Q&A session, providing an opportunity for participants to ask questions and integrate the knowledge and skills they’ve gained throughout the session. The final moments are used to summarize the key takeaways and encourage continued personal practice.
