Position Overview:
The trauma fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon provides surgical and non-surgical care to complex orthopedic trauma patients including those with pelvic fractures, complex, intra-articular fractures, bone defect surgery, treatment of osteomyelitis, non-unions and other complex pathologies requiring advanced knowledge and skill. The individual will provide currently acceptable standards advanced care of these complex orthopedic pathologies consistent with requirements and standards of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic surgeon with experience at an ACS verified Level I or II trauma or who have been fellowship-trained in Orthopedic traumatology

Occasional physical demands include: Sitting , Climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders) , Carry objects , Push/Pull , Twisting , Reaching overhead , Squat/kneel/crawl , Taste or Smell Continuous physical demands include: Talk or Hear Lifting Floor to Waist 10 lbs. Lifting Waist Level and Above 5 lbs.
